Residents will be able to bring items for reuse from Wednesday
The Western Civic Amenity Site will be reopening its reuse garages next week.
A trial period will see the garages available for use on Wednesday mornings.
From the 15 April, residents in the west will be able to bring items that can be used by someone else to the reuse garages for the first time since last year.
The facility closed in 2025 while the amenity site was unable to operate at capacity.
Electrical items won't be accepted for reuse.
Those dropping off items will be asked to do so at the bottom of the site while the top section is closed to allow staff to effectively monitor activity within the reuse garages.
