37-year-old was found guilty at trial
A man has avoided being sent to prison after being found guilty of being concerned in the production of cannabis to the Island.
Paul Sheppard was handed a suspended sentence of two years in prison following a trial.
The court heard the 37-year-old imported £40,000 worth of the class B drug to the Isle of Man in November 2024.
During sentencing at Douglas Courthouse, Deemster Graeme Cook also ordered Sheppard to pay £1,000 in prosecution costs.
