One-way broadcast channel will provide updates from police
The Isle of Man Constabulary has confirmed it has joined WhatsApp.
It means members of the public will be able to get the latest updates via a special channel, direct to their phone.
The police say the option is 'perfect for those who don’t use Facebook but still want to stay connected'.
