DEFA faces questions on food security in Tynwald committee session
Government is looking to increase freezer space in the event of a food crisis.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber has been questioned by a Tynwald Review Committee which focussed, in part, on food security.
Mrs Barber said there could be circumstances where shortages resulted on the Island.
And at present, she admitted, storage space was limited:
