Work is underway to set up a new website for Manx Care.
The healthcare provider currently doesn't have its own platform separate from the central government website.
The board has confirmed it's been given the go ahead to move forward with plans for its own site.
Vice-chair Sarah Pinch hopes it will give patients easier access to the information they need:
