Road closures in place for Peel Carnival

Stanley Road and Walpole Road will also become two-way throughout

There'll be a number of road closures in place for Peel Carnival today (Sunday 3 August).

Peel Prom and East Quay will be closed from 10am until 6pm for the event.

Meanwhile both Stanley Road and Walpole Road will become two-way.

It means parking will also be suspended on Church Street, and on parts of Stanley Mount, Peveril Road and Bridge Street.

The buses will operate directly via Albany Road to Peel Town Hall and will not go via the prom.
