The 53-year-old failed to inform government her circumstances had changed
A Laxey woman will be sentenced next month after claiming nearly £50,000 in benefits she wasn’t entitled to.
Patricia Mary Caley, of Glen Mooar, failed to inform government her circumstances had changed and made false representations to obtain benefits.
The 53-year-old was overpaid £49,632 and pleaded guilty during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
A social enquiry report has been requested before she’s sentenced on 18 November; bail continues.
