Over 100 new employees since refurb
The Douglas branch of Marks & Spencer has launched its new food hall today with new branding symbolic of the Isle of Man.
Over 100 people have been employed through the new refurbishment, with work planned to begin in the fashion, house, and beauty areas in the new year.
Store manager, Caroline Brand says with the bigger space and range, they've noticed more footfall in the store.
She adds that as the Island is number one among the business for gift card sales, the branch has managed to get its own cards with the new logo on it - which is the three legs of Man:
"We wanted something really really recognisable as a symbol of being Manx and what's more Manx than the three legs of Man." - Caroline Brand
