Route to shut between 1pm and 5pm during storm force winds
The Mountain Road will close later due to the forecast storm force winds.
The Department of Infrastructure has announced an emergency closure will be in place from 1pm until 5pm due to the red weather warning.
The route will be shut from Barrule Park to Creg ny Baa.
Gusts of up to 70mph are expected this afternoon.
