Letters delivered to those affected, says DOI
Resurfacing works will see a road in the south of the Island closed for a month from next week.
Orrisdale Road, near Ballasalla, will be closed between New Castletown Road and Orrisdale Farm, from Monday (19 January) until 22 February.
The Department of Infrastructure says arrangements are in place to provide access to residences within the closure and letters have been delivered to all those affected.
The road will temporarily reopen for two days though, on 31 January and 1 February, to allow it to be used as a diversion route while Manx Utilities completes overhead lines work on Main Road, Ballasalla.
