Dog owners urged to be vigilantÂ
Dog owners are being urged to stay vigilant after palm oil washed up again at Port Mooar Beach on the Island’s north-east coast.
While it can look harmless, palm oil can cause serious illness in dogs if it's eaten and it may also be contaminated.
Members of the public are being asked to keep dogs under close control and avoid touching the substance.
Any further sightings should be reported to the Coastguard on 686628.
