It's expected to end by 2.30pm
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping and minor inner harbour flooding is expected from 11.30am today (20 February).
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office says high spring tides coupled with fresh southwest winds will bring minor overtopping of waves and debris around high tide until 2.30pm.
The areas affected will be Shore Road (Rushen), Castletown promenade, the northern end of Douglas promenade, perhaps to a lesser extent, Laxey and Ramsey promenades as well.
There is also a risk high tide may cause minor flooding at a few low-lying properties near Riverside Industrial Estate, Gardener's Lane in Ramsey and the Tongue in Douglas.
Castletown harbour is not expected to have any issues as long as flood defences have been deployed.
