A new local contractor has been appointed to run the Northern Civic Amenity Site.
It means when it closes today (Monday 23 March), it won't reopen for a week while preparations take place.
The current workforce are preparing the site at Balladoole to make way for the new contractor.
The name hasn't been made public as yet, however its the subject of a question in the House of Keys tomorrow (Tuesday 24 March), where it's possible Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall will make an announcement.
Ramsey Commissioners have been running the site for the last year on behalf of the DoI.
The facility is due to re- open on Monday 1 April.
