Talking microwaves amongst items donated
A local charity has received visually impaired kitchen equipment to help with its services.
The Joey Dunlop Foundation was donated items such as a talking microwave and hob by Sight Matters.
Bruce Baker, a Trustee for the foundation, says the idea for the equipment came after feedback from visitors.

The organisation then contacted Sight Matters for help with selecting the right 'kit'.
Bruce and Dave Wilson, the Accessibility and Technology Officer for Sight Matters explain how the items will help:
Work underway to remove asbestos from former Golf Links Hotel
Police raise welfare concerns about vehicle occupant
New EV charging points planned for Island's ports
Campaigners against offshore windfarm proposals hit out at 'undemocratic' process
