KC Foods has been in business on the Island since 1971
A local food wholesaler who's served the Island for over 55 years is to close, with the loss of seven jobs.
The owner of KC Foods, Amanda Bowie, told Manx Radio rising costs and market conditions have forced the decision.
The company, based in a 24,000 sq ft warehouse on the Hills Meadow Industrial Estate, was founded by Amanda's father in 1971.
They started out selling Cadbury products from the family's spare room and delivering them in an old Post Office van.
Amanda says it's a sad moment but the pressures have been mounting:
The company will cease trading at the end of April.
